There is an enormous growth in the amount of Wife and Mommy bloggers swirling the internet.
Now it feels like every person who gets married in this generation has a thing or two to say about married life.
Get an engagement ring and BAM! start a blog.
Then you have the pregnant mama who want to share their journey and excuse me, I am not knocking your hustle.
No two babies or relationship are the SAME
So why then are we all quick to give advice, tips and show us only the beautiful side of your life, making us glut and hate on ‘how perfect your life is’.
If anything, these are just causing people to lust after what they can’t have, painting the perfect date night, expensive bag, shoes, house decor and all the wonderful things that comes alongside your new life.
We have become a generation that no longer think but rather feed and derive joy from things that visually stimulate fantasies.
Instant gratification is now what we thrive on.
Just as we have joined this blogging-sphere we hope not to fall off the trail of bringing awareness to the things we as humans have lost tract of while we navigate this life.
Even if we pretend not to care but we have to agree these things lead us to constantly compare our lives to others who might have what we don’t have, forgetting to be grateful for those things we in fact have around us, working to be better people and love our neighbours as God commanded.
Matthew 22:37-39 (KJV)
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
